Saddlebrook no longer has a lesson program organized by the barn. We currently have an in house instructor, Emma Poppy, that teaches and trains at Saddlebrook for students that own their own horses and board at Saddlebrook. Emma is an Eventer with a dressage and H/J background. She instructs H/J and Beginner Western, as well as manages a Show Team that competes on a monthly basis throughout the year.
Occasionally, Saddlebrook has horses and ponies that can be leased on a long term monthly basis for individuals wanting to pursue the sport of riding that do not currently own their own horse or pony. The lease is the cost of board per month ($500), plus farrier expenses (about $45 every 6 to 8 weeks). Lessons are purchased directly through Emma on a monthly basis at $50 per lesson.
